Goldleaf's Skye's The Limit Monty's Pedigree Monty's Health Testing Monty is the patriarch of our mastiff family. Monty is also our first show dog and we had so much fun showing him to his championship. Although he has a fantastic temperament and is an AKC championed mastiff we have chosen not to use him in our breeding program as we feel he does not meet the full breed type necessary to better our breeding program. He is cherished and loved and helps me evaluate rescues as even though he is an intact male he is able to be around other males without aggression so I am able to use him to learn about the temperaments of rescues that come in. Monty is our mastiff that loves to retrieve and he will do so until we stock throwing his toy.
